About Light Haven

Light Haven Christian Home was opened in 1982 as the vision of Evelyn Miller to meet the needs of seniors in the area.  The original building and addition was done by volunteers. The Home operates as a non government funded Charity.  And relies on residents fees and donations to cover the expenses of the home.

Our Mission

Our mission statement encourages us to not only meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents but also their spiritual needs.  Having said that we do not require any resident to follow any religious beliefs but do make services available for those who chose to attend.  We believe that people are our ministry and should treat them as Jesus treated people. 

Jesus said in John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
